On March 4th, my wife and I were joined by 6 other Canadian friends at La Vaca Argentina. We had reserved a table and we were seated pretty well right away. They served us bread along with 3 small bowls. One was pesto, and the other two were some sort of hot sauce. The pesto was the best, and the bread was fantastic. We all ordered the Argentinian and Chilian wine which was was extremely good and well priced. All couples ordered the tenderloin beef (500gr), and shared it was shared by two . It was plenty for two people. It was cooked perfectly and was very tender and tasty for everyone, All rated it a 10/10. We also ordered a side order of French fries and grilled vegetables. Both were vey good, but two side orders were too much for two people. Another couple ordered a baked potato which was gigantic. It was served covered in a sour cream type sauce. All others had French fries. I had flan for dessert and shared it with my wife. It was the best we ever had. A 10/10. All in all, we all loved our meal and the excellent service we received from Valeria, our waitress. She was attentive to our every need and so very pleasant. The average cost per couple was about 2100 pesos, plus a tip. (Billed separately for each couple) It's good value for such good food and service. We will definitely return.
Definitivamente volveremos. Send feedback Side...
Read moreI had the beef tenderloin, grilled vegetables and loaded potato and everything was excellent, with plenty leftover to take home. My only complaint would be is that, they not only didn't have my favorite wine (that I was so happy to see listed on the menu), but the substitute they suggested was not only a disappointment but more expensive (which I didn't realize until I got the bill!) I also felt that it was on the warm side and I like my white wine quite chilled. I certainly didn't want to have to add ice to an...
Read moreThe salmon in the pasta was old and smelly. Gross. Why don't they offer fresh fish from the ocean. Also the pizza has to be frozen and had that freezer burn. There is no way they are making fresh pizza there. We only had a few bites of it. Many other places on PV to get good pizza. We ate at the one in Neuvo Vallarta. You watch the cooks in the kitchen. Mostly they are standing around on the phones. They are not cooking. They are open stuff up from bags and putting in pan. I want...
