Shrimp N Beer — Restaurant in Nayarit

We had the shrimp which was swimming in an insanely good sauce. The shrimp and sauce are boiled in a bag; the bag is brought to your paper-covered table, opened, and poured out. Head and shells are still on, so it's sloppy, as I believe is the intent. There are options besides the shrimp, but we just had the shrimp. It's a storefront in a little mall so the atmosphere is not first class, but neither is putting on a bib, dousing yourself in sauce and peeling shrimp. I totally loved it, but that experience may not be for everyone. Though they do offer non-shrimp-boil dishes like burgers, fish, ribs. Honestly, I did not know what I was in for when I agreed to go here for lunch. Steamed peel and eat shrimp with all body parts attached. My hands were smothered in shrimp juice for at least an hour. Great flavor, just have never been a fan of having my food's eyeballs staring at me while I eat. 😀 Bring silverware, if that is your thing, and maybe a wet rag. Even the fried ice cream was eaten without silverware. Limited drink menú and limited menú overall, but if you go for the steamed shrimp then you can always ask for more. Company was great. Couldn't take pictures because once I started eating my hands were deep in shrimp sauce....

I normally do not like to get my hands on food like the way they do here but it is a different experience. I had a craving for Cajun shrimp so this place hit the spot ask for the hot shrimp how ever they also have different options burgers and what not but their main specialty is this Cajun spicy shrimp in a bag which I absolutely love. The place is clean very clean, the bathrooms are super clean which is something I give a plus because many places in the area have 0 cleanliness in their main and most important areas.
