Burrito Revolution—A Battle I Didn’t Sign Up For I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but after my experience and hearing similar horror stories from others, I feel compelled to warn fellow burrito lovers. My once-innocent chicken burrito from Burrito Revolution led to a 12-hour marathon of riding the porcelain bus like I was auditioning for an extreme sports documentary. Things got so bad that I had to make a detour to the local Sayulita Health Clinic for treatment after 12 hours of relentless digestive detoxing (side note: 10/10 recommend this hospital clinic). At first, I was chalking it up to bad luck—these things can happen, right? But after chatting with a few other travelers, I learned of two more cases of food poisoning linked to this place. Looks like this revolution has a track record of leaving people defeated. Would not recommend.

My friends an I went here for a late night dinner after a long day on the water. What a treat! Burrito Revolution hit the spot. The food was hot and fresh. The service was prompt and the staff kind. I got the Chicken Burrito and was glad I did. The filling was perfectly balanced. The tortilla has a nice sear to the outside. Definitely would recommend this place. The price was reasonable at around ~$7 for the burritos, ~$6 for the quesadillas and ~$2 for the tacos.

Somehow, my daughter who has never been to Sayulita, has heard about Burrito Revolution and told me we should try it. We have now been twice in 3 days! Honestly, I rarely order burritos because in the US, they are often filled with mostly beans and very little substance, but Burrito Revolution does it right. These are delicious and freshly made, so you will have a little bit of a wait, but not long and it’s worth it. These are also great to-go.

First Server guy was lovely, but when I was enquiring about the price of my order - the older Owner/Manager was abrasive and rude with me, and there just wasn't any need for it. Then whilst I was waiting for my food, he asked me to put a facemask on, which is totally fine, because I'd honestly forgotten to put it on before entering the shop, but then when I looked around and him and all 5 staff weren't wearing facemasks, I was like... what the?

The whole place has a weird vibe to be honest. When I was trying to pay, this woman rudely indicated I was in her way...(I thought she was a customer in a hurry...nope! She worked there lol.)

When I was waiting for my food, I noticed a part of the menu that said 10 rules to be there... (7 or 8 of them started NO... Like no forks, no exceptions, empty your plates in the bin, have a sense of humor, no this, no that). It was one of the strangest angriest places I've ever been. I truly feel sorry for the workers there, having to be bossed around by this maniac dilluded Manager. (Who would salsa dance alone in between rudely n quickly talking to more customers...

Burrito Revolution is one of our "must haves" when we visit Sayulita. The flavors on the arrachera super burrito are absolutely amazing, and they do a great job of portioning and distributing the different ingredients so that you're never getting a mouthful of beans or rice.

I am a sauce-aholic, and their sauces are legitimately some of my favorite on earth. They have a spicy garlic cream sauce that I could put on every bite of food I take for the rest of my life and never get tired of it.

And the owner is awesome! Every time we have come here, he always takes the time to come and chat with us and make sure everything is perfect with our order. For anyone who has complained about the service; maybe you should look at the vibe you are projecting. Treat people well, and you will be amazed that people will actually...
