Well, they have a nice view.

Had an appetizer and it was ok. I don’t usually bother giving reviews but this experience was exceptional- in a bad way.

I would have to say that my Margarita was likely the worst I have ever had, anywhere. Tasted like water with a squirt of lime and some tequila.

My partners Martini was as well extremely poor. Very watery, barely a gin taste. Enough olives to be a salad. Likely shaken with ice too long and the result was a watered down Martini.

For the price of the 2 drinks, of about 300 pesos, there is no excuse at all for such poor quality.

These are two of the easiest drinks a bartender can make, other than opening a beer or pouring a glass of wine.

On our way down in the elevator a couple staying at the hotel, gets on and knowing we are coming down from the bar, they ask “how was it”. My response, “worst drinks I can recall ever having”. They said thanks for the heads up.

In hindsight this was one of those times I should have told the waiter the drinks were terrible so I do own some responsibility. Maybe they would have listened to my complaint and tried to be better. The bar also needs to take some responsibility. It’s called quality control, tasting...

Resumen: Excelentes cócteles preparados, muy buen sabor pero con porciones reducidas respecto a los alimentos en relación a los precios, esto se aprovecha mejor si van en grupos múltiplos de 3 ya que permite probar casi todo el menú dividiendo en montos adecuados la cuenta final, cabe recalcar la excelente atención por parte del personal.

El lugar por si solo tiene una excelente vista tanto de día como de noche (si acudes de noche recomiendo sentarse con 1 o dos mesas de distancia de las orillas, los calentadores dan temperaturas amenas pero para aquellos a un lado de los mismos les puede llegar a ser incómodo) y con una atención impecable por parte de todo el equipo desde inicio a final.

Respecto a las bebidas, éstas son el punto fuerte del lugar, totalmente recomendables y si llegara el caso que no es de su agrado el mismo personal insiste con el reemplazo de la bebida hasta que sea adecuado al gusto de cada uno.

Los alimentos es donde uno se encuentra con un encuentro agridulce casi de inicio a final, con el primer vistazo a la carta deja una mala primera impresión por las cantidades implícitas y los precios de cada uno (por ejemplo 3 alitas de pollo por 120 pesos, un dato realmente inexcusablemas el cual se aborda bajo la premisa de que "la zona y calidad de los ingredientes lo ameritan", lo cual en lo personal no es suficiente para excusar la cantidad/precio), si se hace el esfuerzo de dejar pasar ese dato se puede llevar una muy grata experiencia con ligeras excepciones (roast beef por ejemplo que no se compara con el resto de los platillos que de ordenaron), los tacos de pato, camarones al tequila, camarones tempura, hamburguesas, callo de hacha, por mencionar unos cuantos de los platillos que degustamos, fueron excelentes en cuanto a su sabor y presentación, cabe resaltar que casi todos los platillos son servidos en porciones de 3 por lo que si se acude en grupo se múltiplos de 3 se puede pedir de varios platillos y así tener una experiencia más amplia y completa en cuanto a los tipos de alimentos que se prueban en la primer vuelta (si es que fuera su primer visita claro) así como que al hacerlo de esta forma se divide la cuenta de una manera que no resulta agobiante para todos.

Los postres deliciosos de igual manera, lo cual cierra de una manera agradable la visita para iniciar o dar por cerrada la sobremesa.

En fin un lugar totalmente recomendable para visitar y probar por lo menos una vez los alimentos y si es de su agrado para frecuentar por sus cócteles.
