A gem in Jarretadaras i.e. outside of Vidanta Nayarit. Well known to locals for seafood but not tourists. We made reservations for a Thurs night and it was indeed nearly full at 6 pm. Almost 100% Mexicans. The canned music was loud. Service was prompt and friendly (server Jazmin). The sangria was large and good. The margaritas were so-so in flavor. The garlic shrimp was tasty and a good size. The shrimp barrita (think burrito) was inexpensive (110 pesos) and a reasonable size though not necessarily meriting the description of "jumbo". Our friends ordered "white wine" expecting it would be a Chilean sauvignon blanc but they received a 2021 Sancerre. Our half of the bill (shrimp dishes x 2, 2 margaritas, 1 sangria, 1 Penafiel sparkling water) came to just under 600 pesos. We paid in cash but saw another couple using a credit card. A good place to try if you want a "local", reasonably priced...

The portions were huge and we were...

Music was on point. If you want authentic and to get out of the tourist area this is the spot! I recommend the zarandeados, I tried all of them and they were fire. If you’re looking for a new mix of flavors to blow your tastebuds away order the aguachile...
