MitaCo — Restaurant in Nayarit

Stumbled into this little place as a local friend wanted to try it. Note that this is a Guisado Taco restaurant, which means (if I get this correctly) that they stew the meats with seasoning, peppers, and vegetables. We got a little help from a couple ex pat surfers which was welcomed as nothing looked familiar. Ladies behind the counter wanted to have us try anything that looked good and we all got tasting plates to try the dishes. Once we knew what we liked we got full plates and tortillas.

Food was so good, so different that we ate ourselves into a long mid-day nap.

A friend and I were starving cabbing back to our hotel and we stumbled upon this amazing place. The food was incredible, while we were waiting for our enchiladas the owner gave us samples of her mole and some pork to try. Cannot stress how friendly and funny the owner was she really made us...

Wandered in here because most places were closed at 3pm and I was super hungry after a long drive. VERY glad MitaCo was open - the food was fantastic and the owner, Patricia, was a delight. Wide selection of Mexican tacos, platos, plus some American food if you want....
