Cocorico — Restaurant in Nuevo León

When I came in, the Korean guy who looked to be an owner looked weird. He didn't say hello or welcome. I took a seat and sat down for few minutes and the person who came to repair the electricity told me to move because they'll repair right next to me. So I moved to another table and nobody came to take orders when there was only 1 table. Yes it was very slow. I'm not sure if the owner/server was busy taking care of the repair or whatever, but he told me to see the menu on the wall and left the restaurant. And I came out of the restaurant right away because I didn't want to eat at a restaurant with a bad service. I've tried their chicken in the past, and the food was just so-so also; it's not even the best chicken ever. If they had a good food and a bad service, I'd consider them once in a while. Excelente calidad de producto, definitivamente no es barato pero el sabor y como dije, la calidad del producto es muy bueno y tiene un sabor diferente. El lugar está muy chiquito creo tuve suerte que en el momento que llegue no había nadie, pero después de unos minutos empezó a llegar mucha gente, incluso me tocó escuchar que a unos comensales les dijeron que tenían tiempo de espera de 50 minutos en el servicio de restaurant. Por lo que vi es un lugar muy concurrido por los mismos Coreanos ya que la mayoría de las personas que llegaban a recoger sus alimentos eran justamente Coreanos. Otra cosa es que al parecer puedes reservar tu lugar porque mientras esperaba la comida estaban arreglando dos mesas más. Regresando a la parte de los alimentos junto con el platillo te llevan una pequeña ensalada de repollo/col (no se como lo conozcan) con un aderezo que no identifiqué de que era pero estaba rico y un pequeño platito de poro que también estaba bueno, seguido llegó el pollo, nosotros pedimos mitad frito para probar el sabor natural y mitad agridulce, este último tenía un poco de cacahuate espolvoreado arriba, buen toque, también pedimos un arroz con alga, este te lo sirven en un wok y te dan un guante para que tu mismo integres el arroz con el alga y otra cosita verde que no pregunte que era, pero estaba rico jajajja y así formes tus bolitas de arroz, de bebida no podía ir a este lugar y no probar el soju, la mesera me dijo que era muy fuerte así que solo pedimos una botella para dos personas, pedimos uno de toronja, muy rico por cierto, la botella decía que tenía 13% de alcohol pero bueno creo es como si te tomarás un whisky solo (obvio no sabe igual, solo es un ejemplo por el nivel parecido de alcohol) así que creo si me puedo tomar uno yo sola la próxima vez, porque definitivamente habrá una próxima vez ya que tengo pendiente probar el topoko y el...

Me and my family LOVE this restaurant, definitely I'd go everyday if I didn't live 40 min away. The food is amazing. Sweet and sour & Galbi sauces are the best. You MUST order the rice and tteokbokki. Never fails.
