Il Gallo Nero - Trattoria/Pizzeria — Restaurant in Nuevo León

If you live in Monterrey, HAVE to go now to Il Gallo Nero and to all who visit the city have to seriously consider spend some time to taste an excellent set of Italian dishes !! 👌🇮🇹

Hardest thing is know what to order as everything on the menu seems delicious a d trust me, all we ordered was indeed very tasteful !

Started with a Bruschetta Toscana (sorry for the picture because we almost ate the whole plate) then a Bruneleschi insalate that was huge !

Then we went directly to the pizza and decided to ask for the 4 Stagioni and it was great as expected, you can feel that is really a natural wood oven cooked pizza.

Then for the grand finale, an Affogato al Café that was so perfect in flavor, not too sweet and the perfect size for a dessert.

A great place to hang out with your special person or to enjoy a culinary experience with a food lover friend.

That time was this gentlemen who went in person to the table to say hi and recommend the dessert, looked like the place owner and that is a plus and show that he really care to hear first hand from the customers their impressions, kidos to that 👏👏

So there you have it. I'll definitely return to Il Gallo Nero at the...

It's a cozy and beautiful spot to taste Italian food. I don't consider myself qualified to judge what tastes or not as authentic Italian food, but I do like Italian dishes, and this restaurant has incredibly tasty ones.

If there is anything this place needs, it is for more people to know them. Visit!

Recommendation: This is a good place for a relaxing date.

Dish Recommendation: Spaghetti Arrabbiata, its zucchine pizza, and papardelle al ragù di coniglio.

Price Warning: This is a very expensive spot, but it really is delicious. Would I visit frequently? No. Would I visit again?...

In the area for medical treatment and we wound up eating here EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Loved the Ensalada Gallo... definitely the BEST salad EVER!!

I know.... salad?! This salad has dates, prosciutto, shaved parm, crumbled pistachios, balsamic glaze drizzle...and of course the greens

Before this, the best salad I'd ever had to was in Mykonos...so in my Book, this place is incredible!

Also had pizza, chicken, pasta, soup and dessert here... nothing disappoints...it's all fresh and...
