Toro Sushi — Restaurant in Nuevo León

I visit this place every other week. Not the best sushi (not close either) but it's good. What's great about this place is the price and options. 2 for 100pesos since I can remember (practically everyday), which makes this sushi crazy cheap. There's some other deals for bigger groups, but since it's mostly me and a colleague, we only take this one. It applies to all sushi if I remember correctly, so you actually have plenty of choices.

I'd recommend avoiding the common sushis (California, Philadelphia, etc.) as they're not that good here. I recommend "Tia Quina", Tec roll, crab roll, and the "cosmos" (there's like 5 of them). Haven't tried anything else outside of their sushi, so can't...

The first thing we got told wheb we said we didn't want anything to drink was that we couldn't drink from our water bottle and they were gonna watch us on their cameras. Come on! I understand you sell water but it's not a reason for menacing us of, I'm assuming, asking us to leave the restaurant or get charged for water. Nonetheless, the food was surprisingly good. Got the Vegan ramen, Arroz frito de verduras and veggie roll. Everything had good flavor. Shared everything between two adults and was worth...

Honestamente, fue una muy mala experiencia. Visitamos el lugar por el cumpleaños de un amigo, éramos un grupo grande de personas.

En promedio, cada platillo tardó entre 35 y 60 minutos en llegar a la mesa. En el caso del platillo que yo pedí, la orden fue incorrecta (se supone que era un platillo con arrachera, trajeron pedacitos muy pequeños de lo que parecía ser carne empanizada, la masa sobrepasando a la carne considerablemente en volúmen).

Los rollos no tenían buen sabor, los demás platillos eran de calidad pobre, si acaso uno de ellos, llamado Bourbon Street, tenía buen gusto. El arroz es muy bueno también.

Parece que no están acostumbrados a un alto volumen de personas, el área donde estuvimos se veía descuidada y con iluminación pobre.

Supongo que es el tipo de lugar que visitan estudiantes con presupuesto limitado y expectativas bajas de la comida.

Incluso para pagar tuvimos que bajar a caja porque los meseros no traían la terminal aún pasando 20 minutos desde que se habia pedido.

Desafortunada...
