Cinépolis — Local services in Nuevo León

Okay, first off, don’t get me wrong. I love Cinépolis. It is the best place to go to the theater in Mexico. My wife is a super fanático on the rewards program. But this specific location is disappointing to say the least. Anytime it rains, there are leaks everywhere in the theater (it seems like they don’t do any building maintenance). The place is run-down and old, including inside the theaters themselves. The last time we went to this specific location, our movie was accompanied by the sound of not one, but two(!) fire alarms that needed to have the batteries replaced, so there was a constant loud beep every other 10 seconds. When we got out, our car had gotten the window shattered and broken into and the Cinépolis did not do anything to prevent or help our situation. If you want to watch a movie at the theaters, just go to a different sucursal and you’ll have...

Great movie place although a little bit old, I think that adds to the character of the place instead of subtracting. Parking space is sufficient: most people park in front but there is a lot of space in the back. Back parking could really use some lightning though.

Seats are comfortable enough. Wouldn't advice for a whole day experience though.

This movie theater has a couple of "Sala de arte" screens which are great for watching less popular but excellent movies.

It also displays most movies in their original language which is a big difference from most other places.

Concessions are a little bit slow paced and can get clogged if multiple screenings are starting at around the same time.

Café concession is a little bit run down and could use renewing. The food is good.

This movie theater has a VIP queue.

This is a fairly small Cinepolis, compared to other locations. Perks: videogame area, in case you have children or you are the childish one.

Warning: The bathrooms are located at either end of the building (past the auditoriums). They are easy to miss, though, since my first visit, they have been renewed with bigger signs.

Food recommendation: Their ice cream combos are very decent.

Usual cinema price warning: It has high prices on food.
