Mar y Luz — Restaurant in Oaxaca

This is my favourite restaurant along the beach in Santa Cruz Huatulco. They take VISA, the food is well presented, prepared with care and is delicious! Our tab is around 1200 to 1600 pesos daily for two. We run a tab from early morning til evening - enjoying cafe con leche, lunch, dinner and drinks! The waitress’s and waiters are wonderful especially Nora who watches over us like a mother! The staff is attentive, helpful and kind! Just the type of people to make your stay most memorable. They welcome you daily...

PÉSIMO! Llegamos en un taxi y literalmente, nos abrieron la puerta de forma abrupta, no solicitamos nada y aún así nos llevaron a “Mar y Luz” Ejercen demasiada presión, todo el tiempo insisten en que vas a ordenar… en varias ocasiones le dije que volviera más tarde, aún así cada que pasaba el mesero, era lo mismo. Pedí unos camarones gratinados, el supuesto queso gratinado, era una lámina delgada encima de los camarones, calentado en horno de microondas, por cierto, el queso ya estaba en mal estado, olía demasiado al suero que suelta cuando lleva varios días. Pero lo que sin duda alguna fue lo peor del lugar, es que en la cuenta, te anexan un monto obligatorio sin ponerle concepto, al preguntar… el mesero dijo que era la propina. O sea que es a fuerzas lo que ellos quieran...
