Marco Polo — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Good food but very bad services! We ordered delivery services today, and the restaurant replied they can’t do it. Would it have to self pickup. So we head-out to the restaurant, and the waiter offered to bring the to-go order to our vehicle in which was parked at the restaurant’s parking lot, also asked us to wait for a few more minutes as he will return with the rest of our orders… 2 minutes passed, we suddenly realized that the parking lot was closing the doors and was trying to lock us in for overnight! I got out of the car and asked what was going on, the guard replied: I’m closing parking lot. We were intrigued and asked what about our order? I paid $2.140.00 Pesos for the food so that the restaurant’s intention is to lock us in for overnight with incomplete order? What type of service is this? Are their any sort of communications between the restaurant staffs? The parking lot guard never even bothered to approach us (we were parked with next to the exit) to ask us to move the car because he was closing nor why were we there for….

What a beautiful restaurant situated outdoors with lots of plants and green aspects the food was five star excellent flavour Tomas the waiter was very helpful he speaks English and he took my custom order ask the chef to make it for me I was very impressed. The portions are very large and the flavour is very good I would say this restaurant is one of the best ones I have tried in Oaxaca so far even the tostadas were hot and homemade in the restaurant instead of buying them outside which is very cool to eat like that the guacamole the salsa is all homemade very delicious very top quality. I will be back again!

Qué hermoso restaurante situado al aire libre con muchas plantas y aspectos verdes. La comida era un excelente sabor de cinco estrellas. Tomas, el camarero, fue muy servicial. Habla inglés y tomó mi pedido personalizado. Pídele al chef que me lo haga. Quedé muy impresionado. Las porciones son muy grandes y el sabor es muy bueno. Diría que este restaurante es uno de los mejores que he probado en Oaxaca hasta ahora, incluso las tostadas estaban calientes y hechas en casa en el restaurante en lugar de comprarlas afuera, lo cual es muy bueno para comer. así el guacamole la salsa es toda casera muy rica de muy primera calidad. Pésima organización, tardamos más de hora y media y no nos llevaron los alimentos, pésima la mesera que metió tarde la comanda, solo a duras penas tomamos café con pan los niños con los que íbamos estaban desesperados, mesas anteriores que llegaron una hora después fueron atendidas primero, llegamos a las 9:30 y a medio día apenas iban a preparar las órdenes, nos esperamos porque entendíamos que el día era agitado pero al ver que atendían a otras mesas antes que a nosotros nos retiramos, la gerente aunque amable debería estar atenta ante la ineptitud y la falta de experiencia de la mesera de trabajar bajo presión y esto tengo la seguridad de afirmarlo porque el otro mesero que atendió a las otras mesas que llegaron mucho después que nosotros ya tenían los alimentos. Muy mala experiencia porque los meseros atienden a sus clientes habituales y descuidan a los otros clientes, lo que no les queda claro que por este tipo de situaciones no hacen fieles a...
