Really don't know why this place is so highly reviewed. It's nothing special. My americano was way too bitter--I actually couldn't drink it. I ordered a Croque Madame which was pretty awful. The menu seems like over priced junk food. I would recommend eating at the many markets instead of this place. I'm sad I wasted a good meal in Oaxaca!

PAN:AM is a Must for breakfast in Oaxaca city. The bread is baked flawlessly. So delicious. The menu is excellent. The chilaquiles were a little crunchy how I like them and saucy. My cappuccino was delicious. No complaints about the service. Just be sure to get there early as they get really busy. Excellent place to start your day.

We really enjoyed the Chilaquiles de Leña. We came back here twice. The vibe/atmosphere is super chilled and relaxed. There’s no WiFi. But tbh it’s fine for a breakfast spot - it’s not the kind of place to cowork with a laptop or take a video meeting from.

I recently dined at PAN:AM and, unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We had to wait far too long for our food, and even more frustratingly, to settle our bill. When our coffees finally arrived, they were cold, and the servers didn’t seem concerned or willing to make it right.

The staff lacked friendliness and weren’t accommodating when we expressed our dissatisfaction. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed customers. While the restaurant’s ambiance may have been inviting, the overall service left much to be desired. I won’t be returning anytime soon, and I would hesitate to recommend...

Incredible food and they open early, breakfast is fantastic. The Enchiladas Suizas and Farmhouse Omelette are both delicious; everything that came out to the tables nearby looked equally exceptional. Big portions. Don’t leave without adding a side of Guacamole and a Chocolate de Agua. If you’re traveling with kids, this place is very family friendly in every way — waffles with Agave syrup, fresh seasonal fruit, omelettes which can be adjusted for kids’ palette, fresh juices. Beautiful place, relaxed vibe, really delicious food. Highly recommend visiting this place at the start of your Oaxaca trip as you may want to return for many more breakfasts! NB: bring cash, they don’t accept...

Now that I think about it I believe it's way too overpriced for the food they offer. It's double the price compared to similar places. The waitress that served me doesn't make visual contact when speaking to you. It looked as if I was dealing with a non human or an NPC automat. The body language doesn't match the fake kindness. This place is just pure hype for hipsters. The bread was pretty...
