Don't judge a book by its cover. Just a basic little family run place with only 2 tables outside. But the pizza was pretty amazing like how they used to cook them in Naples traditionally. They only take 3 minutes to cook which is another good sign and the oven base is made of volcanic stone so very hot over 500°C. Probably the best pizza place I've ever been to, all things considered. I was travelling with a friend who is a pizza snob from brooklyn and he thinks it's the best pizza he's had outside NYC. Some people decide to run a business and don't get fancy about it, they just do that one thing really really well. This is one of those places. Best pizza I’ve had in the state of Oaxaca all year. Crust was chewy and fluffy, cooked in a clay pizza oven. Ordered my pie with mushrooms, squash and Italian sausage — out of this world local ingredients. They must be making the Italian sausage somewhere locally bc it’s extremely rare to find on menus along the coast where I live.
