Carlota Home Bakery — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Really cute café with good food and amazing bakery/pastries. Small place so seating is limited. My only complaint is the air conditioner is gigantic. It was blowing on us the whole time, so although it was hot outside, I was chilly inside bring a sweater and order a warm drink. The size of the coffee cup was massive and the coffee was actually good. I don’t eat a lot of sweets. I couldn’t resist this one and I did not regret it. Carrot cake was amazing and my kids were in heaven. There’s a fun vending machine where you can put in some coins and receive some good fortune and explanation of stones. ¡Qué barbaridad!! Es una delicia! Fui con mi familia que estaba de visita y les encanta comer en lugares diferentes. Esta vez sugerí ir a Carlota, porque había probado la deliciosa panadería. Es un lugar chiquito pero la estética del lugar es muy lindo hasta los vasos están lindos jaja, el servicio muy bien aunque sólo era una chica muy amable y el lugar lleno, pero no sé cómo se da a basto, porque la atención fue excelente. Los desayunos uuuufffff! Todo lo que probamos estaba buenísimo! Aunque ya estábamos full todos nos aventuramos a postre compartido, y no nos fallaron, pedimos una Carlota y buenísima, me recordó a mi abuela y mi madre que me la hacían cuando estaba pequeña.
