OMG!! Been coming to playa for over 10 years and never heard of this place until now. From walking up to the restaurant and being hit with that smell of wood burning, I knew this pizza was going to be good. What I didn't expect was it to be Unbelievably fantastic. The all dressed was a crisp, light but yet tender home made crust that, on its own had so much flavor you could eat it bare. The toppings were fresh, whole foods with little preservatives or chemicals. Sliced thinly so to not over power the rest of the ingredients. Usually, back in canada the pizza sauce is heavy, acidic or overly sweet and overwhelmes the entire pizza but not here. The pizza sauce made fresh with local grown ingredients, was just enough to meld with the other toppings. It was crisp, light, and the flavors all came together for an incredible dining experience. I have not had pizza this good in decades. The amount of care and pride that they take in creating their pizzas stands out among all the others. The service was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and without being pushy or over selling. It's not in the usual touristy area so definitely a hidden gem. They also have fresh baked thick large cookies that only use whole, fresh, locally, sourced ingredients and they warm them up in their wood fired pizza oven. The smell is out of this world. Warm, soft, chewy but with a slight crispy outside. I had to get the Coconut and the chocolate chip. Using only a few ingredients, mostly banana and coconut oil as their sweetener and binding ingredients, really allowed the flavors to shine through. (Better than some of the upscale bakery cookies back home.) The service is friendly, courteous and so unbelievably humble and unpretentious. If you like a flavorful, thin, (but not too thin crust) pizza, loaded with fresh toppings and not a thick, processed, doughy, weighed down with heavy amounts of awful chemical filled pizza sauce. This is a must!!! Limited seating in a cozy quaint atmosphere but they also have a huge take out clientele. ( I can see why) then, this place has got to be on your list of places to try. You won't regret it. Get off of 5th Ave!!! and treat yourself to a mouth watering, authentic Italian...

Bonus 1: Service is top notch! The owner not only personally asked us about our experience, but he was so friendly. We felt very welcome!
Bonus 2: Warm chocolate chip cookies - don’t miss them if you have room after your pizza. We took one to go.
After 5 other expensive and disappointing vegan meals in PDC, we were thrilled to stumble upon this gem! We ate there last night and we’re going again tonight. Thank you for a delicious and friendly...
Read moreThe food alone is worth a trek to this pizzeria, but the fact that the owners are super friendly and fun made this easily one of the restaurants we frequented the most during our trip.
First, the food is fresh cooked in a brick oven, which I love and prefer always. Plenty of delicious options for vegans as well and they will happily make a custom pie too. They even had multiple cheese options for vegans. I don't even think we tried all the different combos. They also really got the vegan cheese down to a science.
The cookies here are simple and clean ingredients, but delicious! Also warmed up to perfection in the brick oven. The fresh passionfruit and sparkling water was easily the best drink we've had. It had the bubbles and sweetness of soda, but with fresh juice, so none of the guilt.
And the owners are super sweet and a lot of fun to talk to. They will really take care of you. We had great convos every night...
