SUCULENTO RAMEN — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Qué oishi! 😜Suculento Ramen ingeniously blends the best of Mexican and Japanese cooking and delivers some seriously delicious and inventive dishes! We've come several times and tried many things on the menu and all have been great. That said, we always have to get an order of the gyoza in the pipian sauce because this dish is too clever and too tasty not to get it every single time. The tonkotsu ramen is also very good, though the real soup star might just be the suadero ramen which packs a crazy amount of beefy flavor into its broth and bowl. We wish love the tuna tostadas and the crispy sandwich (sadly no longer in the menu, but maybe one day they'll bring it back!)... Truly, any dish you order is pretty much guaranteed to be a winner. (And if you're craving something sweet, the brownie with matcha ice cream and candied lime is unbeatable. And yes: unlike many places in Mexico, this is a proper fudgy brownie!) The mocktails are also fun (I love the White Explosion, which has cardamom in it.)

Add to the great food the very fair prices and super friendly staff and you've got everything you could hope for in a restaurant. It's a bit of a hike to get to, but well worth the effort! This is exactly the kind of innovative yet unpretentious restaurant that Playa...

I wanted to give five stars and I’m sure a dine in experience would easily be a 5, however I ordered on Rappi tonight and I’m alittle disappointed that the noodles were packaged in the ramen broth and by the time I ate it, the noddles were just too soft and practically disintegrating. The tuna tostadas were AMAZING though, as well as the rest of the ingredients in my suadero ramen.. please make a note to send noodles separately. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to reheat my leftovers with soggy noodles and it’s expensive to order on Rappi, I wanted to make two...

Anticipaba visitar Suculento Ramen por las reseñas, y sorprendentemente superó mis expectativas. Yo disfruté de un delicioso Yakisoba y mi madre de unas tostadas de atún. Ella no estaba convencida pues no le gusta este tipo de comida, pero hasta ella quedó encantada. Efectivamente las porciones son perfectas, la cantidad de camarones fue generosa. El postre fue mi parte favorita, probamos el brownie y el cheesecake japonés. El helado que acompaña ambos postres una delicia. Y el cheesecake ha sido el más delicioso que he probado, aquí y desde mi estado, nunca había comido uno tan suave y esponjoso. ¡Las bebidas no se quedan atrás! Esperaba poder tomar un simple Calpis pero los mocktails son muy creativos y refrescantes, una experiencia maravillosa de principio a fin. El servicio de la mano con los alimentos. Absolutamente todos amables y muy atentos.
