Vips — Restaurant in Puebla

I'm saddened by this place. Back in the day, I used to go there all the time and it just happened that I visited town so I stopped by. It was a very disappointing experience, service although polite, wasn't quick or attentive. Servers are distracted and don't pay attention to customers, they seem more worried about their cash register than anything else. Food was good, but came late and dishes were served at uneven times for us (we were only five people). The most upsetting was the children's area, which smelled like feet, ADULT PEOPLE'S FEET! I couldn't help but ordering my kids immediately to put their shoes back on. I hope they can solve these situations, otherwise, the place will eventually go down...

It’s pretty good but very expensive for what it offers. Sit down lunch with non alcoholic drinks for 5 came out to over $76 USD. Sure some may think it’s ok, but that’s what I’d pay in the US. For Puebla it’s way too high. Some talk of the super peso. MX is getting so expensive that if it keeps up it will really hurt the economy as tourism, remittances and exports will suffer. Si te gusta la buena comida, este NO es tu lugar. Vine con mi esposa a desayunar, ella pidió unos chilaquiles Vips y estaban horribles, aguados, pasados, sabían a que llevaban guardados un rato en cocina y así nos los trajeron a la mesa, pedimos que los cambiaran y nos llegó un plato impresentable, con una miseria de salsa, todo batido y sin cebolla (los primeros si traían), se notaba que al chef no le gustó que le regresaramos su platillo Yo pedí un almuerzo mexicano y su carne asada venía más seca que el lago de Texcoco en plena primavera. Definitivamente no recomiendo este lugar, para sus precios y lo que te dan es una burla, la atención de las señoritas meseras es muy buena pero lo verdaderamente importante que es la comida es patético, la comida de mi perro es mejor que los chilaquiles que le sirvieron a mi esposa. Creo que cada día que pasa Vips cae más y más en decadencia, que triste pues sus enchiladas suizas son espectaculares pero después de esto nunca regresaría, al menos a...
