Read moreWow I was not expecting to find such an amazing Italian style bakery cafe in the middle of Mexico!
Best in queretaro easily.
Amazing almond croissant. Friendly staff. Perfect cafe to relax, it is nice and cool in the shade. Beautiful. Please come here.
Update: The tiramisu was also good. I bought it at end of the day so it wasn't super fresh but that is unavoidable.
If you're like me and think that you can find a Thai style iced tea in Mexico, then you better book a flight to Bangkok because Mexicans ain't big on their black teas or Thai cuisine.
The kombucha is not that good. Not fizzy or strong flavour. It is a nice cool drink with some ice but I wouldn't recommend walking across town to buy this kombucha. I actually found a much better kombucha for almost half the price at cafe Monrovia .. I think that's how you spell it, also a nice cafe but it doesn't have nearly as many pasteries as this place.
There are a few mosquitoes in the alleyway seating, take some repellant if you need.
Also a bit unusual to have an open air toilet so close to where everyone is sitting. I personally prefer not to hear someone dropping bombs in the toilet while I eat my croissant on a Sunday morning. But...
Read moreSo far the finest European pastry cafe in Queretaro! The architectural details of the renovated colonial home, natural light, cozy seating and friendly inviting service. I wish I took more pics. The pastries displayed in beautiful old wooden cases and impeccable coffee options. Wonderful cappuccino by great barista. We had empanada with slow roasted mushrooms and onions to perfection. A large chunk melted chocolate cookie crispy on the outer edges slight crunch throughout the surfaces with a gooey soft interior the way I love a cookie to be but rarely found. And you must must have the chocolate eclair the best I have ever had in the world deep dark chocolate topping that was slightly firm the eclair itself was soft and moist it had a light cream filling slightly sweet not overbearing and the best part omg was the orange liqueur drizzle on top when that hits your taste buds look out! We found this place walking on our last day for a quick bite before heading out to the airport. Otherwise we would be coming here every day sampling every pastry they have. This is definitely a place we will return to on our next visit to this beautiful...
