La Cabaña Del Rio — Restaurant in Querétaro

This place was close to my Airbnb and was recommended. We were a large group so we bought a package which included beans, guacamole and a couple of pounds of meat asada and chorizo. Hand made tortillas and other garnishes.

The beans were cold, it was their take on frijoles charros. Though I imagined that if they were hot it would of been delicious.

The meat portions was plenty cooked very well. With places like these I am wary of the meat being a bit of lower quality, full of tendons and nerves. But it was actually very good cuts.

My nephew had a burger and was made with the same cuts, not ground meat. I had a bite and was delicious.

The price is very low for what you get. If your close by swing by, but don’t come...

Fantastic local gem!!!! The most tender meat (arrachera) and full of flavor... large portions. This was the first time we have had cactus....absolutely wonderful!!

The service was the best!!!!!

Dios mío! De los peores lugares para comer, cero recomendable.

El agua está horrible, es solo agua con azúcar, no importa el sabor que pidas 👎

La carne está dura o vieja, como gustes llamarle. No te preguntan ni siquiera por el término que deseas. Cuando estábamos decidiendo qué comer preguntamos si venía con papas, cebolla, frijoles, nopales y tortillas y el mesero al parecer nos dio el avión porque nos dijo que sí y cuando llegó el plato solo venía con papas a la francesa, le comentamos y solo contestó que ese platillo solo incluía una guarnición, nos vio molestas y nos ofreció otra guarnición, ya ni ganas para aceptarla.

Las papas a la francesa nefastas, estaban frías y duras, nuevamente comida vieja.

El servicio pésimo.

Qué horror,de verdad sales enojado de este lugar.

No vayan, eviten tirar su dinero...
