El Troglodita restaurant was included with our evening at Xplor Fuego, and was a smoked meat barbecue. It was all really good, there were lots of different options, and we really enjoyed it. There are even hooks on the table to hang your helmets which was really helpful. There was a meat section where chefs were grilling burgers, ribs, sausage, chicken etc, and these were all cooked well and tasted lovely. There were other sections of the buffet with things such as various pastas and sauces, chips, fries and other potato dishes, vegetables, shrimp, fish etc. The drinks station was really good, lovely refreshing fruit waters that really hit the spot. There was also traditional hot chocolate which was different to the type of hot chocolate I'm used to, but was very good. We enjoyed going up for a dessert plate too, they had lots of different types of cake, pastries, cookies etc plus an ice cream machine.

I came to visit this park restaurant with my family twice during the time we were in the area. We visited in the early lunch hour and in the late lunch or early evening hours. The restaurant is featured as a buffet style location with a main line, the grill, the fruit bar, the desserts section, and the salad bar. This restaurant had a large variety of meats to choose from in the buffet which was great for the family to choose for their meals and side dishes. There is a coffee machine that also prepares hot chocolate. There are a variety of juices and soda. Cold regular milk and chocolate milk are available for hot cereal and cold. There is soft serve ice cream in swirl, chocolate and vanilla.

Very good buffet options for adults and kids with a wide variety of beef, chicken, seafood including lobster and shrimp and salads and sides and desserts. The ribs are delicious and the Tomahawk steak perk for members of Mexico Destination Club is a must to add on. Remember to request this the day before your trip. The time can be modified but you have to reserve the day before or earlier. It is worth it! It's probably best to eat after you are done with activities ... at least the ziplining ones LOL
