Puerto Bahía — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

This place has terrible service. We were greeted on the road side by a waiter who welcomed us in. We told him that we just wanted to take a few drinks which he didn’t tell us no or anything to that sort. When we sat down a young lady came to serve us. Again we mentioned that we just came to take a few drinks which she said that was fine. The waitress asked if we wanted a bucket of 20 or 10. We told her we just wanted to start off with one each to start off. After placing the order the waiter came back looking upset and asked us if we were going to eat. We said no just drinks. That is when he told us that they don’t only sell drink that we have to eat too so he will bring us our bill. I was shocked, first place I’ve ever been that wouldn’t allow us to just take some drinks yet bring the bill to us just because we didn’t want to eat at that time. Bonito lugar en la bahía. No sé qué pasó, si fue nueva administración pero el lugar cambió (según para bien) hay consumo mínimo en ciertos lugares donde te sientas ($2,000 pesos ah y en la cuenta te cargan la propina aunque según no es obligatoria pero al pagar te la cargan) Los precios como era de esperarse subieron pero la calidad de la comida dió mucho que desear. En fin, la cereza del pastel fue el mesero que desde el principio se mostró poco servicial. El menú solo se ofrece digital y no nos abría la página, pedimos un triton de cerveza y nos dijo que no servía la máquina para dispensar la cerveza así que eso no era una opción. Pedimos nachos de camarones (horribles también para lo que pagamos por ellos) pero no nos ofreció ni salsas, ni platos, ni vasos para nuestras bebidas. Eso sí, al final en nuestra cuenta ya se había cobrado su propina. Pésimo servicio!!! Definitivamente buscaré otras opciones y...

Beautiful food. Best octopus we’ve had. The only real improvement would be the music. Just too loud and intrusive.

The reason the food can take a little longer is it’s cooked fresh I guess. No complaints about service time.
