Delicious food, great service.
We had a delicious Aztec soup and Pollo Aztlan a chicken breast stuffed with huitlacoche (whee-tla-KO-cheh), or Mexican corn smut, topped with squash blossom creme sauce. Huitlacoche is also know as Mexican Truffle, and is made from a fungus that grows in corn. A real delicacy.
Both were excellent.
Over several visits, we have enjoyed tacos, chiles en nogada, enchiladas, hamburgers, chile stuffed with camarón (shrimp), ribs, alitas (wings), guacamole, and many other meal choices.
They also have great flan.
This is a great restaurant that showcases how Mexican food is more than tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and quesadillas.
