Lovely breezy indoor and courtyard. The entry may have a locked gate because they're in the back, just call out and they'll let you in. The menu changed in January 2023. They now have only sandwiches (7 choices, $105 MX, about $5.50 US) most days, but may also have lunch special dishes. Everything is either vegetarian or vegan, and they'll be happy to help find your preferences. It takes a while, clearly everything is made fresh while you wait. We had fabulous fresh pineapple ginger water for $30MX (about $1.60 US now, Feb 2023). They say their most popular is the Torta Especial, with veggie bacon, lettuce tomato, cheese, avocado and grilled veggies, onion, pepper, and choice of vegan or regular mayo. Visiting from the US and discovered Comiendo Sano by searching on google. Luckily we were staying only two blocks away so the walk was easy. The food here is incredible, second only to the service and kindness of the owners. It's a beautiful, relaxing environment to escape and enjoy an afternoon in the presence of people who really care about the work they do. Luigi makes an amazing americano. The pineapple ginger juice is also fantastic. We had one of each of the tacos as well as the "especial" sandwich, all of which were so so good. We've now gone three times! This is a hidden gem...
