He has been our server from our first visit, and after 6 years of periodic visits, Jesus has become a friend. He welcomes us warmly, gets us set up under a palapa as close as possible to the surf-line, takes our drink order, offers water for our pup, rustles up side tables and lounge cushions if not already present, and brings menus. Read moreThis place is Fabulous! We came over to Stone Island, on the ferry ($3/RT). Walk along the beach and stop here!! Nice people run the place, Miguel (Michael) is the owner, the place is run by family. Chuey has been our waiter and WE ALL LOVE HIM!!! He's helpful, polite, friendly 🙂 Cokes in the bottle are $2 USD. Chips and Guac 🥑 is about $6 or $7 USD- it is a big plate and it is delicious! I posted pictures of the menu, the prices are in Pesos. There is no minimum. The beach area is shallow, so you don't have to worry about the kids being carried out to sea. They will hook you up with ocean toys for the kids. This place is relaxing and fun. Clean bathrooms. I've been here before and I'll come to this same place...
Read moreThis was a great place on Stone Island. The food is excellent and the service was really attentive (special thanks to Diana). So far we've tried the flan, beer battered shrimp, shrimp empanada, shrimp cocktail, tuna ceviche, pina coladas, strawberry daquiri The fun and colorful atmosphere inside feels really welcoming. They have the sweetest little parrot. You can just grab a lounger and an umbrella and everything will be brought you to. Everything takes a little longer in Mexico to make but it definitely tastes fresh and from scratch. There's bathrooms in the back and lots of lovely beach and calm waters (tho a little colder than in the golden zone, and also prone to mantas because...
