Coco’s restaurant was a great experience! Service was very fast and food was good. We had coconuts, aguachiles, garlic shrimp with rice salad, and a campechana a cocktail mixed with different seafoods, nobody got sick. They have very clean restrooms & you can use their showers for a small fee. The only part that we didn’t like was the Auriga charging us $70 pesos to the restaurant and $70 pesos back to the boat that takes you across the water to get there. Roberto driver for Auriga #20610 told us that as long as we consumed at the restaurant the ride to and back from the restaurant would be included. When we arrived to Cocos he said it would be $70 pesos & once it was time to leave the restaurant called him and once again he charged us $70 pesos back to the fairy. It’s little lies like this that ruin tourism. My advice is when you ask your cab driver to go to the “embarcadero” (the fairy that takes you to La Isla De La Piedra) ask for the “Playa sur” (GREEN ROUTE) side that drops you off in front of the restaurants and beach. Do not use the “Gabriel Leyva” side. (PURPLE ROUTE) you’ll have to pay an Auriga to get to the restaurant side.

From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed with a great host and super friendly waitresses. The location is all I asked for and the food was beyond expectation. The chef is enthusiastic about her cooking and asks you about your preference in details. The sunset here was memorable and the owner was the sweetest as...
