Very friendly people! Greeted with smiles and generosity! The atmosphere is great, VERY clean and well kept.

The food is phenomenal!! My husband got the Volcano which comes in a hot stone bowl, with steak strips and queso with toppings, it’s fire!! Tacos are delicious, unlike any other tacos we’ve experienced in Mexico! They are stuffed full and have so much flavor we couldn’t believe it! Even the children’s quesadilla is really tasty! Everything is cooked to perfection👌🏼 The passion fruit lemon aid is TOP NOTCH! It’s very unique, tasty and easily the best lemon aid we’ve ever tried!! Also, their flan is homemade, and it is to die for! Beautiful presentation along with amazing flavor as well!

This is a family business, and they indeed made us feel like we were family too just dining there....

We traveled down to Rocky Point and did a fishing trip with Ecsta-Sea, where we caught plenty of fresh fish — yellowfin tuna, sea bass, and lots of triggerfish. The owner, Jodi, recommended we stop at El Cabo Taco and have Chef Lalo would prepare our catch, and we are so glad we did!

Chef Lalo created an incredible spread for us, including fresh ceviche, the best fish tacos we’ve ever had, and another delicious fish dish he crafted specially for us. He even came out to explain each dish, and you could truly feel the passion he poured into preparing our meal. Everything was absolutely outstanding including the service!

Cabo taco DOES NOT disappoint! I’ve lived in Peñasco for about a year and they have one of the best Baja/ensenada style tacos in the town. They have two large air conditioning units (swamp coolers) that help beat the heat, it is screened in so flies are minimal if non-existent (rare to find in peñasco), and it takes about 10-15 minutes to get food once ordered.

Their menu prices are cheaper than most marisco spots in Peñasco while keeping quality plates top of mind. The fish and shrimp are so fresh!
