Frutopía Peñasco — Restaurant in Sonora

The owners should know that their employees play pick up, hang up games on the phone when they don't want to be bothered, specifically June 10th at 10am. I needed to order in advance for pickup so I could eat before work. She answered normally. I said two words and suddenly I was on hold without notice. I figured it was an error, called back, and the lady kept hanging up, then putting me on hold without answering, then just pick up, hang up again. When I finally got through I tried to order a breakfast croissant sandwich. I told her last time I ordered the same thing it was not a croissant when I got home, and I was trying to confirm for sure if they had them so I could order something different if they didn't. She didn't even bother to ask the cook, and hung up on me again. The behavior made no sense. I've ordered from them several times in the past couple weeks alone. Our dine-in breakfast meal previously was mediocre. It was ok, but underwhelming and small quantity for the price and quality. I thought it was worth returning for breakfast sandwiches to-go anyway. They're decent and quick and their lunch sandwiches were intriguing to try in the future, but that level of inconsistency, disrespect, and lack of reliability isn't worth the hassle. The place was empty and we waited 30 minutes for “juice”. Juice in Mexico is fresh pressed with NO WATER. This place does 3/4 water, 1/4 juice and misleadingly call it juice. If it was at least okay tasting or if the service had been decent I would not be writing this. I got one with pinneaple, strawberry and orange. It barely tasted like anything and the little taste it had was AWFUL. I kindly requested it be refunded and they said they could not do that. Then I asked them to remake it, they would not. They said I had to drink it like that or they could top it off with orange juice. How would topping off my OVERPRICED WATER make it any better? They called the manager and she gave the same options. I asked them for a different drink altogether and they said they could not do that either. The same happened with my mom’s “juice”. Later I tried my dad’s Taro drink and it tasted like the most artificial syrup. I have NEVER had a Taro drink THAT BAD.

These are the WORST drinks I have ever had in Mexico. This is the WORST service I have ever received in Mexico.
