Pink Cadillac Restaurant — Restaurant in Sonora

Poor quality food but great atmosphere. Drinks are good too.

Edit: I review many places. Forgot to review after our last incident here since we haven't been back since. 3 stars- now 1 star.

We were coming here early for a game night called "Singo". We're early. We generally have 6-10 in our group. The owners' son was managing. He was extremely rude to me and my group saying that ALL of the tables were reserved by "paying customers". I told him that we buy things. His words were - "No you don't!"

(Our group came here at 3:30 each Friday, played cards and then played the Singo game at 4:30/5:00. We, as a group, purchase drinks, some of the group like the food here (I don't).)

Our group heard what he said (directed at me) and left- there were no customers there but every rectangle table was "reserved". We were not given any notice that reservations were offered with a deposit - though we came EVERY WEEK. I would happily have paid a non refundable cover charge against drinks my wife won't drink.

Several of our group know the owners personally. One reached out and got an explanation that "tables CAN be reserved with a deposit". Certainly had we a. Known- we would have done so. b. Not been treated so badly - we would have come back c. Been apologized to - with some recompense, we would wipe the slate clean.

As it is, several of our group has literally vowed not to return and have gone to a different...

Great 50s inspired restaurant with Sports Bar. Huge facility with at least 3 different areas: restaurant, bar with dart boards and an outdoor bar/swim up pool patio. Staff were friendly and competent. Bathroom on patio exactly as you would imagine. We ate in the restaurant (Great food and prices!) and then headed out to patio to catch the end of the biweekly game of bags/corn hole. Playing were some of the most friendly snowbirds we have ever met on our travels, including the owner of the establishment. Before I was 2 beers deep, I was learning how to play and meeting people. Take a step back into the 50's with this diner. The staff is always super friendly and quick to refill drinks. The food is always great and cheaper compared to other places in the area. This time we came here for breakfast. I ordered the light breakfast - spinach and cheese omelet with tomato slices and avocado slices. Ordered the 2 egg and bacon breakfast which came with hashbrowns and toast. Ordered a blueberry pancake which was made with blueberries - probably the best pancake we've ever had.
