Went with a friend for an early dinner Sunday around 16:00....that's 4:00pm. We were the only two people there. Started out with drinks. I had the Mango-rita, which was really good. Then to the dinner order, I tried ordering a couple of appetizers, fried zuchini and jalapeno popper but the waitress said they weren't available so STRIKE-1. So I settled on shrimp & cheese stuffed jalapenos as the appetizer, they were fair and came with some kind of dipping sauce, which was different but tasty. My friend ordered the chicken chimichanga and I ordered the garlic flounder. I had a bite of my friends chimichanga and it was pretty tasty, it came with rice and mixed vegetables. My garlic fish was just ok, a bit overcooked. Came with baked potato, salad, and mixed vegetables and a dinner roll. The Mango-ritas were so good we orded another round. Overall the service was ok. Food took over 45 minutes and we were the only ones in the restaurant at the entire time. I haven't been to Lat-31 in about 3 years. I guess it's ok in a pinch. I might go back in a few months. Not the worst but not the best place. Lat-31 promotes itself as a sports bar/restaurant. Has 3 big flat...
Read moreCurrently having terrible service. A family came in 15 minutes after us. They got served first and looks like they are done with there meal while we are still waiting.(they seem to have good rapport with maybe one of the owners. My guess is they know them cause it was a good too see you again conversations). But a smaller family that was here before us still hasn't received their food. Not sure on how long it should take for breakfast especially. We were told 5 minutes they came back later and said 10 minutes, been 15 minutes now.
Edit after owner response... So is it customary for you too only check on one specific table? I noticed you were only checking in and talking to one table. What was the reason for that? On another note, when we first went inside the restaurant you were playing country music. I couldn't help but notice the race of the families that were in there and seemed like it was geared towards them. Once the last family left (and we were the only family in there) the music changed to Spanish music. Now putting that as well as you not coming to speak with us during our wait have anything to do with my family...
Read moreThis place has an awesome view of the marina, fantastic hamburgers and all sorts of other great food selections. I arrived a little before the regular crowd shuffled in so was pleased that even when becoming extremely busy, I was not forgotten and received the same service as the other guests. I also liked seeing the owner, Mike, working behind the bar and delivering food. He and the staff worked in perfect rhythm with each other. The restaurant has two patios if you want a more quiet experience. It also has lots of TVs for sports games, and there's a pretty cool area for kids to play while their adults visit. It is handicapped assessable although you'd have to be pretty strong to push someone up the rather steep ramp. Latitude 31 has been a staple in Puerto Peñasco for years. Mike's wife Cindy has a really unique gift shop below the restaurant and it's worth spending time...
