Pretty Nice Place! A bit hectic due to the amount of people that's usually at this place due to it's popularity, but it definitely shows why once you're there! The costumer service is good. On top of that, they have a pretty nice display of pouring the milk if you order a Lechero Coffee! The food is tasty, it can be a hit or miss with how long it'll take for it to come out. The waiters are very attentive when anything is needed for the most part. Price wise, it's not expensive, but not cheap either so I'd say it's about right in the middle. This cafe opened its doors in 1808 and they still serve dishes from two centuries ago. I like to have the “bomba con frijoles” but the tamales, enfrijoladas and empanadas as excellent as well.
This new location has a beautiful sight of the boulevard and the sea. In the lower level they had an art exhibition of pieces that represent different aspects of Veracruz. If you have the time to visit this free exhibit you won’t regret it.
They also have a machine in one of the corners of the restaurant where they show you how they roast the coffee beans! Don’t miss it. It’s so interesting and cool to see...

Closing with a Lechero poured and mix in and with tradition to seal...
