Wonderfully friendly staff who anticipate one’s needs. One of them has been here over 20 years - and so affable too. The facilities, decor, fixtures, tableware etc all top notch. They have the poshest cocktail napkins ever - starched and pressed 😎Beautiful decks and roof top, and lots of sporting memorabilia. They have a rowing division too. Only two minor downsides I can think of: the men’s toilet could do with a few more urinals to avoid the occasional queue and the lifts could be a bit quicker (perhaps we were being nudged to use that beautiful staircase).
