Back in 2014, during my student years, one of the places that left me with the most memories was the Caffe Bene branch at Tengis.
At that time, the baristas wore nice uniforms, and the cheerful, smiling young men and women made the place feel so lively. It was also here that I was first introduced to coffee culture—a habit that has since become inseparable from me, whether I’m traveling, hiking, relaxing at home, or working.
Today, I passed by this branch and couldn’t resist stepping inside. Familiar feelings and memories instantly came rushing back, filling me with nostalgia. But sadly, the place has changed. The tables and chairs were scattered without order, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable, and the coffee tasted overly bitter—perhaps due to poor machine maintenance or the baristas’ skill level.
