The museum feels like the fossils that they are displaying. It's old and run down. You can see its probably not well funded compare to Genghis Khan National Museum but nevertheless It has its own beauty and charm. Once you are out of the city and travel thru the open vastness of the Mongolian outdoors you cant help n relate back that this magnificent dinosaurs once roam this landscape. It's not a huge museum. You probably can finish this in about an hour.

Can’t really say anything. I walked over there during the hours they had posted for being open. The door was open. I walked inside and was promptly told they were closed. I pointed to the hours on the door (which were within the hours I was there) and they just said sorry, closed. So perhaps call ahead first. The monastery is about a 10 minute walk up the road from here.

This rickety museum is worth going to is you really want to see the turbosaurus Rex exhibition. The taxidermy is … not good. The resolution on the photographs looks like 8-bit. The diagrams of the solar system look like they were made by a 4th grader. Still, if you have about 45 minutes to spend, swing by here. Wonderful ceiling.

It is okay for one-time visiting, but I doubt for revisiting. It was clearly not well-cared, some walls were seriously damaged, and half of lamps were gone. My kid loves to see the dinosaur and other animals things, but that is all. If you have lots of time and no idea what to do, you may go since it is free for kids to enter.
