Lately I had a chance to check this place out. Hazard is listed first in the list of the best restaurants in Ulaanbaataar, and I will try to debunk this false statement. Let me start with the overall setting and mood of the place. Safety first. Not enough light in the middle area where there is a staircase to the second floor. I almost tripped and fell because I didn't see where the steps were. I mean, my eyesight is good, I don't wear eyeglasses. The second issue with safety is tables. They wobble a lot, and you can spill your hot drink. Also, these tables have done kind of studs poking out, making the surface of the table really uneven, adding to the risk of spilling hot drinks. I'm gonna provide videos of the table, so you can check them out on your own. These tables are uncomfortable to sit at as well you have to spread your legs really wide as if you are giving a birth to a child. Next up is noisy setting. Of course, popular places get Noisy all the time, but if the restaurant says they have partitions, they gotta be good partitions made of some kinda solid material, not these thin curtains with cut windows and u can see people sitting in the next partitions. Photo is provided. As for waitresses or servants, they are really nice. Doing their job really good. But I feel bad for them, because they need to walk up and down this staircases thousand times percday. They might have developed really strong legs. As for the food, 8 out of ten. But naan was cold. Who serves cold naans in an Indian restaurant?lentil was good. One big minus is that they don't have proper teas in teapots. They should consider adding some good tea to their menu, in addition to massala...

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating Vegan options from the menu. The meal is super flavorful and filling; the Peshawari Chole contains so many non-spicy spices, every spoon full is so delicate, savory, and tender; the Zaafrani Chaawal and Peshawari Chole mix so well together, offering a heightening of flavor distinctly though subtle; and the Lahori Naan as well as Garlic Naan are crisp though fluffy-ish offering different flavors that I find stand well apart from the other portions though are easily compatible with the other portions for a mini-wrap or the like. The interior is somewhat cozy and decorative. After eating, I feel so ready to sleep and think of how much cozier the eatery might be with a hotel attachment. The establishment takes different forms of payment.

QUICK NOTE ABOUT THE DECOR (considering my most recent visit, I notice the swastika image in the design on fabric, imagery that may offend any unaware of the swastika culturally, historically, aside from any cultural misappropriation. I do not endorse and/or subscribe to any form of hate. I love the objectively good.): If you are unfamiliar with the swastika culturally, here are a few resources to further understand the swastika...

Last weekend, I went to Hazara restaurant with my family to bond. It was a decently sized resturant that serves indian food. Overall I thought the restaurant was very good and almost had no problems with it.

I had ordered a chapti bread alongside better chicken curry with a glass of pepsi. The chapti bread was fresh, hot and most importantly tasty and the butter chicken was also fresh, tender and it tasted good but the chicken was abit dry. The pepsi tasted like pepsi

The staff were friendly but the smiles felt a bit forced. The servive itself was very fast and we only had to wait around 10-20 minutes for all our food to come out even though the restaurant was packed to the brim with people.

The cafe was cozy and clean, it had comfortable chairs and soft jazz playing in the background whilst our family ate. It was a relaxing place to eat despite being the restaurant being full of people.

The pricee were reasonable. My bread and butter chicken curry was 20-30k tugrik, which waa fair for the amazing quality of the food and itd tastiness

I would reccommend Hazarw Restaurant who people who enjoy having large amounts of food while it still being at a reasonable price change with amazing quality and quantity. It has a cozy atmosphere. Families and friends would like it. I would defintely go back...

I enjoyed the best food here, especially lacha paratha that they always make for me on special request in olive oil on hotplate in traditional way. Friendly owner Mr. Khan also visits in summer and it was great talking to him. They also make most amazing comfort food. I had memories of Missee Roti from my childhood and I had this amazing thing with Galuti Kebab for the first time and loved it ❤️. This Kebab melts like butter in your mouth. By the way don't forget to tell them how hot do you want it mild, medium, or spicy hot 😜 😋
