UBean Coffee Shop: A Much-Needed Escape from the Chains In an age where every corner seems to be taken over by one of the big, impersonal coffee shop chains, finding a place like UBean Coffee Shop feels like stumbling upon a hidden gem. Seriously, if you're tired of the same four-wall, standardized experience, this place is the perfect escape.
First off, let's talk about the atmosphere. It's genuinely great! Forget the sterile, mass-produced decor you see everywhere else. UBean has a vibe that's cozy, welcoming, and feels truly unique. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably settle in for hours with a book, a laptop, or a friend. The lighting is soft, the seating is comfy, and the overall design is thoughtful—it just has that lovely, independent coffee shop feel that's so hard to find nowadays. It makes you want to relax and actually savor your time.
Now, for the coffee. It's safe to say the brew here is "not too bad"—in fact, I think that's underselling it a little! While it might not be the most artisanal, single-origin pour-over you've ever had, it’s consistently solid, flavorful, and definitely hits the spot. More importantly, it complements the chill, welcoming environment perfectly. It's good, reliable coffee that doesn't need to shout to be enjoyed.
But here's the absolute best part and what truly sets UBean apart: the occasional live singing session. Nothing beats sipping your latte while a talented local musician provides a beautiful, spontaneous soundtrack to your afternoon. It adds such a wonderful layer of charm and authenticity. It’s a little touch that elevates the whole experience from just a coffee run to a genuine treat.
If you’re looking to break away from the monotony of chain coffee, support a local spot, and enjoy a killer atmosphere (and some great unexpected live music!), you absolutely have to check out UBean Coffee Shop. It's a genuine slice of calm in...

The Carrot Soup is tasty; carrying a dull sweet that reminds me of less sweet baby food that has a carrot and an apple for parents; the meal is satisfying as a stop gap before a heavier meal, to me. As for the crackers that may come with the meal, if you're Vegan, beware, because Julie's crackers may not be Vegan (last I remember checking in-store, Julie's crackers are not Vegan, double-check, in case, for any ingredient change(s) more recently). The establishment has different types of seating areas whether for one or more as well as a corner seemingly for live entertainment. The establishment takes different forms of payment....
Read moreIt was a so so experience. I ordered a latte and a piece of choco cake. The price for a latte seemed overpriced (9,300 MNT) given the fact they are not using a real milk but milk that is made out of powder and the latte came in cold than warm. And if you want to take out your drink, youd have to pay additional fee?? And the cake was not great either.
The environment is not impressive too, but loved the fact that they put board games for their customers to play!
Service was impressive compared to other coffee shops...
