We went there for dinner, chose it randomly and initially we were impressed of the restaurant 'look and feel', as well as of the way we were served. The serving was very professional, elegant and classy. However, we had some things we did not like. First of all, before the main courses, we were brought some home made bread(it was excelent) and some spread (also very good) that we did not ask for, but we were charged for. We read after it from other reviews that this was mentioned on the first page from the menu - let's say we were hungry and we skipped it while looking through the menu. Second thing was that one of us ordered mussels which were not well cooked - the meat from them was kind of raw and most of the mussels were not opened, or they were barely opened. When this was mentioned, the waiter was very polite, asked if we want to recook the mussels or would like something else instead, but our choice was the second as we wanted to be sure this time will be ok. The not-so-nice part was that we were charged for both plates. We know that these things happen, but it was not the first time we were eating mussels and they were definetely not well done, so it would have been nice to aknowledge this and charge us only for one of the plate. Besides that, we ordered praws pasta which were very good (and well cooked) and stuffed calamari that was also very tasty. As desert, we had something traditional with milk that was again very tasty.

The restaurant has a great location, literally in the old royal garden, which is always shady, tranquil, and green. The food and wine were delicious, though I didn't like apple charlotte (just not to my liking, it goes without ice cream by default, but you can order it additionally). The waiter was extremely polite.

Now, the things I didn't like: We celebrated my birthday here and asked the waiter whether they offer something with this regard (some restaurants offer a piece of cake or a discount). He said that he needed to ask the owner, but we never got any answer. Some cutlery items were dirty, which is unacceptable for such a place. We didn't get a wine card and a menu for non-alcoholic drinks. The waiter just proposed some options orally. We didn't know beforehand how much we had to pay. The toilet was in poor condition (broken cabinet under the sink, cobweb on the chandelier, and mold on...

Aristocratic. Atmospheric. Gorgeous. Place for gourmets. For people who love life and everything connected with it.

Music as an aperitif. Local wine as the flavor of the place. Delicious steak, vegetable soup of the day, tiramisu and strudel. Quiet. Cosy. Time stops. I want to come here in winter to taste the Christmas atmosphere. Excellent service. What it is? This is when it is comfortable for both guests and waiters. Compliment from the restaurant. In general, this is a place for those who like quiet cozy places without crowds to eat, drink, relax and enjoy the moment.
