Worst steak I’ve ever had, anywhere in the entire world, minus Antarctica, but only because I’ve never been there. If I could rate less than one star, I would. First, it’s not 400g, It’s closer to 250g. Second, around 1/3rd of the steak was cool and raw. The steak was so cool that the chilled butter wouldn’t melt. Third, zero seasoning, no salt, no pepper, steak basic 101. Fourth, it tasted oldish/freezer burnt with the first bite. Fifth, the manager says they make everyone pay full price for bad food that his staff cooked. The manager should have tried the cold and raw steak but never came out of hiding. Sixth, it wasn’t cooked evenly which means the “cook” didn’t use a timer. Seventh, the cook doesn’t understand that onions take longer to cook than most vegetables and need to be put on first to avoid the customer being served raw onions…same for mushrooms. Either the cook needs training or just doesn’t care.
Do yourself a favor, and don’t eat here. I hope I don’t get food poisoning from eating cool raw meat. More to follow if I do.

I asked the waiter for chicken to be well done because I don't like it otherwise (had bad experience with raw chicken in several restaurants). They brought me thick cuts of chicken fillet which was not well done and it was chewy/unpleasant to eat. I asked them to replace it, they did it with no problems, I received the other thiner sliced fillet which was again not well done on some parts and I didn't eat all of it. 3 stars because of good nutella rolls and good service/friendly waiters. Tables for two are too small to have 2 dishes and salads....
Read moreSimfonija okusov pod taktirko chefinje Marine. Običajno kosilo se je izkazalo za pravo kulinarično razodetje – brez pretiravanja lahko rečem, da sem doživela pravo harmonijo okusov, ki ostane v spominu še dolgo po zadnjem grižljaju.
Glavna zvezda kosila je bila pečena orada, pripravljena z mojstrsko mero nežnosti in pozornosti. Koža hrustljava, do popolnosti zapečena, meso mehko, sočno in brezhibno odišavljeno s pridihom limone in rožmarinove vejice. Orada, ena najbolj hvaležnih rib, je v Marininem rokah zaživela na novo – kot nežna sonata morja, ki boža brbončice. Ob ribi so bile postrežene pire kroglice valjane v pistaciji – prava mala senzacija. Hrskava zunanjost iz drobno mlete pistacije je skrivala svilnat krompirjev pire, ki se je dobesedno topil v ustih. Sladkoba pistacije in nežnost pireja sta tvorili nepričakovano, a popolno kombinacijo. Piko na i glavni jedi je dodala gril zelenjava, preprosta, a izvrstno pripravljena – bučke, paprika, šampinjoni, paradižnik in jajčevec so bili lepo karamelizirani, z ravno pravšnjim dimljenim priokusom, ki je poudaril njihovo naravno sladkobo in svežino.
A ko sem mislila, da kosilo ne more ponuditi nič boljšega, je na mizo prispela sladica – vizualno osupljiva kreacija, ki je spominjala na pavlovo torto z jagodami in sladoledom.
Rahla meringa z nežno hrustljavostjo je skrivala mehko sredico kreme, ki se je čudovito prepletla s svežimi, sočnimi jagodami. Kremast sladoled je dodal ravno prav sladkobe in poskrbel za popoln zaključek.
Sladica in riba sta bili estetsko naravnost osupljivi – kot poletni vrt ujet na krožnik.
Chef Marina ni zgolj kuharica – je umetnica. Vsaka jed je premišljena, uravnotežena in pripravljena z ljubeznijo. Njena kuhinja pripoveduje zgodbo, v kateri je vsak grižljaj novo poglavje.
