Listen up people. If you want the freshest tasting grilled squid and grilled shrimp you have ever tasted in your life, please come to Fish Bar Cvijo. With each plate you order, it comes with potatoes, small amount of rice, and some veggies. The way the restaurant seasoned and buttered the food, we did not even bother adding the lemon that came along with the meal. The flavor juices were oozing out with each bite.

The shrimp cost 14 euros and squid was 13.50 euros. I got a large draft beer (niksiko toceno) for 2.70 euro. They even offered us bread but you would have to pay for it if you choose to eat it.

We were also going to order the fish broth but the waiter helpfully mentioned to us that the large food portions would be too much. Thankfully we listened, allowing us to fully maximize our enjoyment of the squid and shrimp.

Food is good, problem was the billing. I asked for a recommendation as the usual tourist looking for an honest hostess. They offered me a combination plate (outside of the menu). When I was ordering I asked for the price several times but the waiter kept saying 50/50, which I understood as half of one plate and half of the other (somewhere between the average of both plates). Unfortunately they charged two plates, which means almost 20 euros more than what I thought. Of course he denied telling me 50/50 or that I asked many times for the price. Fish Bar Cvijo was an unforgettable experience! Everything we tried was incredibly delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We were about to order soup to start, but the waiter kindly warned us that the seafood platter would be more than enough for two people… and he was absolutely right!
