Morski Vuk — Restaurant in Bjeliši

We happened to stumble upon this seafood restaurant while visiting the market, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. From the moment we sat down, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The mussels we ordered were probably the best I’ve ever had—cooked to perfection with just the right balance of flavors. Even our kids, who are usually picky eaters, couldn’t get enough of them. We were so impressed that we’re already planning to return to explore more of their menu.

Update: We visited this restaurant a second time, this time with friends, and our experience was just as wonderful. We decided to try the oysters, fish, and tuna. The oysters, while a bit on the small side, were still fresh and delicious—though we’ve noticed that the selection of oysters in Montenegro tends to be limited in general. The fish and tuna were both cooked beautifully and full of flavor, leaving us very satisfied with our meal. I'm in shock reading these other opinions because my group's experience at Morski Vuk was shockingly bad and among the worst experiences at a restaurant that I've ever had. Did we catch them on an off day or what?

First off, the owner of the restaurant had to punt an old, sickly dog (not sure if it was a stray or not but I hope he's okay... he had a bad limp) out of the way with his foot to make room for our party. Next, our waitress was having a cigarette in the kitchen while our food was being prepared - while pregnant. I am absolutely sure that this is the best fish restaurant I have ever been to. And I am not only talking about the price-quality ratio, about super tasty dishes from fresh seafood, I am talking about the hospitality and atmosphere. The owner of the establishment conquered us, thank him very much for his advice, for his hospitality and for the fact that this place exists.
