Montenegro Food Bar — Restaurant in Cetinje

We stopped by spontaneously after seeing the 5-star rating. It’s a cute place with a small non-smoking dining area and a larger dining room for smokers. The crowd was mostly local, and the menu is in the local language, not in English. However, the waiter was helpful and made great recommendations. Prices are very reasonable and clearly geared toward locals. The beer was cold and served on tap. Service was excellent overall, although we did have to wait quite a while for our food—not sure why. The food itself was tasty and came with generous portions, served with fries. For the price, it was more than enough. We also shared a dessert, which was delicious and perfectly sized for two.

If we had stayed longer in the area, we definitely would have visited this place again. While the waiting time for the food could be improved, the excellent service, friendly staff, and very fair prices more than made up for it. Overall, a great local spot that fully deserves its...

I had the pleasure of visiting Montenegro Food Bar in Cetinje, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! I ordered the famous Montenegro Burger, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The patty was perfectly cooked—juicy and flavorful—and the creamy cheese they add on top takes it to another level. It was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!

The portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere of the place was casual yet cozy, which added to the overall experience.

​The waiter was incredibly rude. After we waited an hour, he brought us a burger with very raw meat. When we pointed out the issue, he rudely insisted that it was cooked correctly. We asked the waitress to send my wife's plate back to the kitchen, but the waiter refused to take my plate, so I had to take it back myself. The burger eventually came back, but the meat was still undercooked and tasted terrible. To make matters worse, the fries were completely cold. We couldn't eat any of the meal.
