They simply didn't want to serve us. I'm not even going to say they had bad customer service, it seems the whole country is lacking in that, but they went above and beyond to make us leave without even getting a drink, not once but twice. On October 12th we came to Porat for lunch, party of four adults. We wanted to sit outside overlooking the sea, and there were three empty tables: a 4-top in the sun (no, thank you), a 6-top booth and a 4-top with a few dirty dishes on it. Between the three servers standing in front of us, they didn't want to sit us at the 6-top and didn't want to take 5 seconds to clear the table. They told us to wait 10-15 minutes for more tables to open up. We just went to a place next door. The next day two of us decided to give it another try - early lunch, not a single customer there yet. We were sitted and given the menus. A few minutes passed, the server came out only when a family came up and sat at a table. He had a nice conversation with them, offered them beverages and went inside without even looking our way. He stood inside waiting for their drinks directly across from us. This restaurant has a beautiful nautical theme that you notice the moment you walk in. There’s an outdoor seating area that overlooks the ocean—absolutely stunning—but be sure to call ahead and reserve a table there. Even during the off-season, it’s usually fully booked.

Inside, we were warmly greeted by the staff and treated to the soothing sounds of live piano music, which made the entire experience even more special.

The menu focuses heavily on seafood, perfectly fitting the Adriatic setting and the restaurant’s coastal theme. While it’s a fine dining experience, you don’t need to dress up too formally—just skip the swimsuit and go for something comfortable yet classy, as the ambience leans more toward upscale dining.

The food was absolutely delicious, and you can truly taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. If you're visiting Bečići, Montenegro, this place is a must-try.

The food was decent, although it was too sauce-coated that we could barley feel the taste of the fish and meat itself, which is definitely not the sign of haute cuisine, rather a cheap low-quality food place. Yet, the food is nothing compared to the service - the worst we’ve experienced in Montenegro, where the service is generally a problem. First, the waiter was irritated that we were still choosing and discussing when he came and he literally rolled his eyes and left in the middle of the order to another table. After the meal, when we already paid the bill with a card and were going to leave soon, the waiter came back to take the bill and when he saw that there was no tips, he asked quite aggressively if everything was okay and opened and put the bill in front of us. Regardless of whether we were planning to leave the tips or not,it was absolutely inappropriate and rude as first, the service wasn’t really nice and second, tipping is a voluntary gratuity and demanding it so openly from customers is really rude.
