When me and my fiancée went to Tulip, I don’t think we expected that we were about to eat one of the best pizzas we’ve ever tried. In fact, it was so good we ended up visiting three times for either lunch or dinner. I can’t remember the name of our two waiters, but the bloke who served us took an interest in my support of Stoke City and told me about Russian football, a very friendly guy, and the girl who served us, small with a ponytail was very friendly and lovely to talk to. She corrected my pronunciation of Niksikco when I asked for one and got it a bit wrong!
As for the pizza, wow. The dough was the perfect thickness for a stone bake. Incredibly tasty and the size was so big that we ended up sharing one pizza every time, and the tiramisu was to die for. The views on the upstairs are stunning, overlooking the bay. Do yourself a favour and make sure you visit. It was a highlight of our...
Read moreThis is a top class restaurant - I know some people have mentioned it before but my partner and I will echo- this is the best risotto we have ever eaten! I had the seafood and she had the mushroom and we had to come back a second time, which thankfully was no fluke! Nice service from English speaking waiters, the owner is always there making sure everything runs smoothly- a very warm and nice guy. The location and setting is perfect right on the sea. The wine was good, price point was good for the quality and I can’t think of a single negative. I can eat a fair bit and I would suggest if you are only having a risotto and you are hungry, order some of the fresh bread which will come out of the oven for €2 (order at the same time though or you will be waiting for 5 mins whilst your risotto cools). I can see why this place gets such...
Read moreWe had a Christmas party at the Tulip restaurant and we are absolutely fascinated about it! Great location, exquisite, stylish and well-thought interior, not mentioning stunning sunset views that we enjoyed through panoramic windows. Chef and the kitchen team managed to positively surprise us with high-quality European cuisine. We ordered Sea Bream with teriyaki sauce, fried cashew, grilled pepper and truffle mash which was absolutely delicious! My partner ordered veal mignon which was also splendid! We also chose Italian ice-cream, tiramisu and, obviously, coffee. That was quite a gastro journey one could expect only in Italy. Finally we have such gastronomic oasis in Montenegro. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts and those looking for great food...
