Tri Ribara — Restaurant in Rafailovići

So me and my Fiancee were in Montenegro 🇲🇪 on Holiday from our home in Manchester, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

We were staying at the Aleksandar Hotel nearby so we headed out for dinner and Tri Ribara stood out to us, So we headed inside for Drinks and food.

To drink I ordered a pint of Local Beer 🍺 and my Fiancee ordered a Bottle of Local Red Wine 🍷, My Beer was ice cold, Crisp and a great pint, My Fiancee really enjoyed her Local Red wine it was fruity and full bodied.

A few minutes later the waiter came back and we ordered food, My Fiancee opted for A bowl of Clams and I opted for Spaghetti 🍝 Bolognese with a side ordered of Chips.

Food was absolutely amazing my Spaghetti Bolognese was the best I had ever eaten, Honestly it was absolutely delicious, Perfect blend of herbs and spices, Generous portion and extremely tasty, The chips(Fries) were homemade and again delicious, My Fiancee absolutely love seafood and opted for a bowl of Clams, The Clams were extremely fresh and the Clams were complimented very well by the sauce and it came with a garlic and parsley homemade sauce that was so amazingly tasty, Fresh and fragrant and went really well with the clams etc.

Service was fantastic, Food was well presented, Food was amazing, Polite and friendly staff, Great setting, The restaurant has its own boat and serves whatever they have caught that day, Lovely decor.

This week I went to this restaurant, I ordered a salad of octopus to start, and for main meal a sea bass fish with 2 glasses of white wine. I was approached by a lady who said she was Russian nationality and was on holidays like every year in Becici beach, she was with a other friend for dinner on the table next to me. On the end i asked to pay my account, and The employee brought the receipt for me to pay my bill that was less than 40€. In the same moment the lady starts to speak with the employee in Russian language about champagne, and other things, i really didn't understand what they was speaking but for sure was to charge they acound in my bill. The employee without my permission put 99.50€ on the machine to pay by credit card and hide the screen from me, i trusted the employee and i put my card and insert PIN, and after left the restaurant to my hotel. Then on my hotel i looked at my revolut payments, and there was 99.50€ charged. Attention with this restaurant, the employees are involved in this theft scheme. If the boss is not involved in this scheme, it is better to interrogate his employers because they are stealing the customers, I have been stealing for them. I didn't go to the police because i was in holidays and I didn't want any problems with the mafia at this restaurant. Careful attention to this...

I had been backpacking all around Europe for a month and I was so disappointed by the food. I told my server I was looking for something with stronger flavors and lots of garlic. The server was a wonderful elderly man who was super professional and was happy when I told him how pleased I was with his suggestions. I got the clams and fish. He knew how much I was enjoying the clam juice so he encouraged me to soak it up with pieces of bread. The seasoning over all for both dishes were nothing new. Simple mediterranean flavors. But the freshness of the clams and fish was amazing. I was doing my happy dance while eating. I finished the whole bowl of the garlic sauce. It saved the whole meal. I ate everything on the table, leaving nothing. After I got my check I realized I had forgotten my card. The lady told me I could come anytime to pay and I was shocked how friendly everyone was. I truly appreciated this place and enjoyed the most out of all the places I’ve eaten...
