Konoba Čardak Brbot — Restaurant in Stari Bar

Unforgettable moment for our first visit in Montenegro. The best and most delicious meal we had and we especially appreciated to taste something traditionally here. I was impressed to see lots of vegetarian options in the menu for me and also so many options for meat lovers - my family. It was such a joy to see my kids eating everything, including the vegetables (never happened before 😋😋😋) Since the food and the local juices were so delicious we decided to stay longer and try coffee and dessert. And we had again a very beautiful surprise- coffee was one of the best we had in Montenegro and the baklava was really special, unlike any we had so far.

The serving was very good and warm - we learned later we got served by the owner, a man with a great heart.

Location was lovely and quiet, near the entrance of the Old City of BAR, with beautiful view of the Old Town and the surrounding mountains.

I am so grateful to the owner for the wonderful moments. Please continue to offer such wonderful moments to as many people as possible. Have great success...

Oh my I have so much to say.

Service was just incredible, the waiter was super friendly and nice to us although there were some other guests too. He spoke English!!! Which is a pretty rare thing here. He was very quick and brought us menus within like a minute of us sitting down.

Food prices are much cheaper than in the restaurants nearby and the food is INCREDIBLE!!!!! We tried their Tuna Pizza and an eggplant in tomato-white sauce with cheese and needless to say it was the best pizza of my life 10/10.

There were cats everywhere which was cute. The atmosphere was very pleasant without loud, unnecessary music.

Also the table was very clean and we didn’t feel like hundreds of people ate there before us.

The location and view from the restaurant was amazing. The service initially seemed fine, taking some initial drinks orders. After then sitting at our table for half an hour, I politely asked the waitress if we could order some food. She looked at me like I’d sworn at her, I repeated myself and she said we could order some food but we’d have to wait. It was this point that we paid for our drinks and walked out of the restaurant, which is one of the very few times I’ve ever done so.
