Vitamix Agadir Bay — Restaurant in Agadir

We had been looking around the Founty area for decent food and have had no success over the last few days. Today we took a gamble on Vita Mix and were VERY pleasantly surprised.

The portion sizes at previous places have been on the small side so I thought I had better make sure that we would be at least full.

Large 240g Cheeseburger & Fries Regular 120g mushroom burger with potatoes (called wedges in the UK). Potatoes instead of fries is MAD5 extra. And to make sure, we ordered an additional dish. Can't remember it's name but it was chicken, mince and broccoli in a creamy sauce with cheese on top and it was on a bed of potato and came served in a cast iron dish. I had orange juice and my wife just a still water.

Anyway, when the burgers came I was pleased as they looked very decent in appearance and size. Mine was the double cheese and on first bite I knew we were on to a winner! Tasted like a better quality burger king. My wife agreed that her burger also tasted lovely. Half way through I was doubting the decision to order another dish. Fries were a little cold but the potatoes/wedges were hot and fresh. Just about managed to finish it all except the fries but I left them mainly because I knew something else was coming. I hoped they had forgotten the 3rd dish tbh but they hadn't 😂. This fresh from the oven dish also looked perfect and when we tasted it we thought that was perfect too. Again very decent size. We soldiered on trying to eat as much as we could but had to admit defeat not even getting halfway through. My orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious. So, we finally found a decent place 4 days in. Just a shame it wasn't discovered earlier! The bill came to just under MAD200 which is the cheapest meal I've eaten here in Agadir but it was the best one by a long shot. I will come back again before I leave for sure.

Courteous staff. Very well laid out and huge establishment, almost double the seating upstairs. Very busy on arrival and people queuing up for tables. We were told that they could squeeze in two people but only upstairs. Took absolutely ages for our order to be taken and then even longer for the drinks to arrive, surprisingly the food was delivered quite quickly. Ordered the chefs Calzone and Carbonarra salmon tagliatelle, asked for extra shrimp, cuttlefish and extra extra garlic. The Calzone was pretty bland. The Tagliatelle was slightly better but it seemed that there was no garlic at all, how disappointing . I can see people enjoying this place but for me, they just didn't follow my order correctly. I was ordering from the menu, all extras were listed, hence the disappointment. For such a fancy restaurant, I was surprised to find the toilet seat was dirty and it was only secured on one side. I recently had an extremely disappointing dining experience at Vitamix. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. We waited for over 30 minutes just to be handed the menu. Despite making eye contact with several staff members, no one seemed in a hurry to attend to us.

To make matters worse, when it was finally time to pay, we discovered that they did not accept TPE payments. This crucial information was never communicated to us at any point during our visit, causing significant inconvenience.

When we raised our concerns with the supervisor, his response was shockingly indifferent. He did not treat us with the respect and attention one would expect from a customer service representative.
