Marisco — Restaurant in arrondissement de Tanger-Medina طنجة المدينة

I visited Marisco with my family for lunch and had a really enjoyable meal overall. I ordered 5 dishes and a side, and most of them were truly excellent: • Mixed fried sole fish, calamari, and shrimp – fried perfectly, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Crispy without being oily. • Fish tajine – the star of the table! So creamy, packed with flavor, and just hits the spot. • Grilled sea bass – light seasoning that lets the natural fish taste shine, topped with a drizzle of olive oil. Simply amazing. However, I did have an issue getting my order for the seabass — the guy in the fish section refused a couple of times to serve me half a fish, which is a very reasonable portion and price for one person. When I couldn’t find another option and insisted, he finally agreed. That’s not the kind of attitude a customer should face in a restaurant, but it happened. • Tagliatelle pasta – creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. • Fish soup – rich, tasty, and infused with seafood goodness that takes you to another world.

Side: • Seafood briwa – crunchy, fresh, and clearly cooked to order.

Service was amazing and fast — the staff took great care of us and made sure everything went smoothly.

The only downside was the cleanliness of the place. Chair tops were sticky to the point I moved them with my feet, and the floors had tissues and some visible dirt.

Overall, the food and service at Marisco are excellent, but they should work on staff attitude in the fish section and improve cleanliness. With those adjustments, it could easily be one of the best seafood...

So Today was my mum's birthday, i wanted to celebrate it there with a little surprise.. nothing was in my mind tho so i just asked one of the staff if i can make something for her as it's her favorite restaurant 🤭, he said when i want a cake i can go to the bakery which is close by and bring something, i said ok then not, and we changed our plan.. Later on after having food which was incredibly delicious and good price ( not the first time eating there ) we ordered ice cream which i normally like to have there as it's the best, He whispered if im still interested in the little surprise for my mum, i said no it's ok we do later somewhere else ( i probably seemed sad 😂 ) some minutes later.. he came with all the staff and the "happy birthday" music was ON and they were all signing in a really nice atmosphere 🥰 my mum got a bit emotional, we all left super happy.. i want to thank the staff again for this beautiful gesture, it meant a lot for us,...

I've been to the Marisco Restaurant a few times, and it wasn't anything special before. However, I noticed a lot of people waiting outside recently, so I thought there must be a reason. I decided to give it another try, and I was happy with the good quality they now have. The avocado salad was delicious and filling, and the fish platter had fresh and high-quality fish. We also tried some cigars and briwat, the ones with prawns and spinach were the best. The service was excellent, especially one waiter's assistant who went above and beyond to ensure my kids were comfortable, paying attention to every detail. I tipped him at the end, but he was too modest to accept it, It's rare to encounter such people in the hospitality sector. The prices are reasonable compared to Tangier Fish Restaurants, but still not as good as what you can find in Agadir,...
