Shocking. We travelled to Morocco to visit my wife's family and celebrate my birthday. My brother in law first approached the staff and management to ask if they had space for 10 people and he had already purchased a cake for my birthday. They refused and said you have to buy a cake from the restaurant minimum cost 300dh. He came out to tell us so I said let me ask them if they can allow us to bring our own cake as we will be spending money on food in the restaurant anyway. I was told it will be no problem at all and welcomed. When my wife's family came into the restaurant a minute later we were all shown to our table and then the manager approached us and spoke to my brother in law. He said you have to buy a cake from the restaurant and because its a birthday each person will be charged a minimum of 70dh regardless if they eat or not (including our baby). My brother in law was very unhappy and said to the manager because I had spoken to them in English they were very accommodating and when he spoke to them in Arabic and they could see they were a moroccan family they were treated very differently. We then all left the restaurant after how we were treated. I asked the waiter who i had spoken to earlier what just happened? and he looked very embarrassed and just apologised. The management here need to learn how to treat people with respect not just any foreigners who visit. Very shallow attitude and behaviour from the management. I will never go back to this restaurant. We ended up going 5 mins drive to Bourgois restaurant where the staff were AMAZING and very welcoming. Us bringing our own cake was no problem and all the staff came to the table to sing happy birthday and all the other customers joined in. THIS is the kind of atmosphere everyone loves. Bourgios restaurant could teach a lot to cafe Majorelle who...
Read moreNeed for Men's/Ladies accessible bathroom on the first floor Nice coffeeshop in a nice location with good professional team, the employees/servers are amazing, they serve you with a smile on their faces and make you feel welcome. Additionally, good seating, I was impressed with the excellent coffee quality, and the delicious pastries. I am addressing the owner of this property, please consider having an accessible bathroom downstairs. It will be something of added value in your coffeeshop. Please note it is important. Think of the elderly who have heart disease or health issues and cannot use the stairs. Please do not deprive families with elderly people of the opportunity of visiting your nice coffeeshop. I would like to see this implemented in the near future. Thanks for your...
Read moreI will give them benefit of doubt as today was their first day opening, maybe they werent prepared for the amount of Customer, from my experience today if u are going there for food do not go. But their drinks are fine. I ordered the burger with Gold on top, my bun was dry, the whole burger was cold was not worth the money. My wife ordered Shwarma, they have 3 options for shawarma but the server decided for my wife that she was going to Chicken and gave her no option for anything else. This was a horrible experience. I wont return! If this type of service and food quality continue I dont think they will survive much longer. But wish them the best of luck and hope they...
