I’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and both times I was overcharged. The staff are well-spoken and polite in their explanations, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. The food is also delicious—no complaints there.
However, the problem lies in the payment process.
The first time I visited—months ago—I was charged for items I never ordered, like a Coca-Cola and a few others. When I pointed it out, they apologized and corrected the bill. I accepted it as a simple mistake.
But today, it happened again. This time, the issue wasn’t about extra items, but with the calculations themselves. The waiter gave me a total using a calculator, but the prices he assigned to each item were incorrect. I didn’t notice immediately, but after leaving, I did the math myself and realized I was overcharged again. I went back, pointed it out, and after some discussion, they returned the extra money (which was just a few dirhams—but that’s not the point).
It’s not about the amount; it’s about being transparent and honest.
So please, double-check your bill carefully before paying.
Again, to be fair: the food is good, and the place is calm and enjoyable—but the billing process seriously needs...
