**Restaurant Review: Disappointing Experience at Nomai Fes, Morocco

My wife and I, along with some friends, visited Nomai in Fes, Morocco, hoping to enjoy a special dinner for my wife's birthday. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant, and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've had.

The evening started off disastrously when a glass on our table broke, spilling its contents all over my wife's new, expensive dress and soaking her clothes completely. We were shocked by the incident and approached the waiter for an explanation, only to be met with a dismissive response. The waiter claimed that the glass broke because there was ice in it, essentially brushing off any responsibility.

We left the restaurant to return to our hotel so my wife could change into dry clothes. Before leaving, we specifically requested that the kitchen not prepare our food until we returned, as we wanted it to be served hot. Unfortunately, this request was ignored. Upon our return, not only did we find that our food was ready and cold, but the staff had also failed to move us to a different table as requested. This oversight left my wife feeling uncomfortable and upset, having to move her chair to avoid the wet area.

When our meals were finally served, the quality was disappointing. My steak, which was supposed to be a tenderloin fillet, was cold, fatty, and chewy. The fries were also cold. My wife's wok-fried noodles were similarly cold and unappetizing. Despite our clear instructions to hold off on preparing our food until we returned, the restaurant failed to deliver a satisfactory meal.

To make matters worse, the manager never came to our table to apologize or address our concerns. When we received the bill, my wife's virgin mojito, which should have been complimentary considering the circumstances, was still included. The manager was uncooperative when we requested it be removed, and he showed no understanding of customer service. He even suggested that the broken glass incident was not their fault.

Overall, our experience at Nomai fes was extremely disappointing. The poor service, lack of empathy from the staff and management, and subpar food quality made for a ruined evening. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Fes, as it does not meet even basic standards of hospitality or quality. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a different dining...

This restaurant was my worst experience in Morocco. I ordered a virgin mojito and as I picked up the glass to take a sip the entire bottom of the glass fell off spilling the entire drink on my clothes soaking my entire lower pants and my undergarments. My clothes were totally soaked and I had no choice but to go back to the hotel and change. When we returned to the restaurant they gave us the food we had ordered cold even though we had told them we have to go home to change and not to make the food until we return. The waiter was very apologetic but the manager didn’t even come over to apologize. They then proceeded to give us the bill with the drink on it. When I called the manager and asked why the drink was on the bill he told me madam it’s not our fault that the glass was broken and the drink fell on your clothes. I told him I didn’t break the glass did I. After much insistence he took the drink off the bill. The place is nice but I wouldn’t waste my time on this type of service or on cold food. The way they managed the issue ruined my entire night and the whole experience. I have been all over Morocco but this was the worst experience I have had at any restaurant and this is meant to be an upscale restaurant. Totally...

Me and my friends were so fortunate to celebrate my birthday dinner yesterday at the fabulous NOMAI restaurant ,so im going to share my amazing experience .

As soon as we arrived the team were so welcoming and friendly they offered us a table with a suitable location for a birth party , the waiter handed us the menu with a lovely smile on his face . Few mints later he came to take our orders and left , leting us enjoying the decoration ,the music, the atmosphere and the famous tree which had been talked about.

Finally our food was served and it was as delicious as it seems we had enjoyed what the waiter recomonded for us, it was the signature cocktail of the rastaurant( THE NOMAI COCKAIL) i actually liked it and it was worth to try it for the first time

Suddely, we've been suprised by the manager and the whole team coming toward us with a birthday cake , clapping and singing for me

My experience at NOMAI made my birthday so memorable , i'd love to thank the whole team and the manager for their behaviour I definitely will visit NOMAI again if i...

New restaurant in Fès. A business casual, modern style design. Pleasant ambiance, with moderate level noise. The staff was professional, courteous and attentive, without being overly friendly, put simple: genuinely caring that you enjoy your experience. They have a good selection of dishes, blending japonais cuisine and Italian cuisine, with well balanced flavors. The food is well presented and delicious, and the portions are generous (we could easily have shared the main dishes). The desert menu offers great choices. Our picks included a citron moist cake with delicate decoration of meringue, and a « dulce de leche cheesecake », which was surprisingly good (not the boring american cheesecake), this one actually had a delicious velvety panna cotta like texture, topped with a creamy homemade dulce de leche. It’s great value and quality for the money. We highly recommend it!

My friends and I are traveling and stumbled upon this place! It was some of the best food i’ve ever had in the entirety of my life. The service was exquisite, the food was delectable and the desserts to follow were equally as delicious if not better. My friends and I genuinely couldn’t decide what to get so we ordered about half the menu and decided it was all a 10/10! I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone living or visiting Fes. It has a large variety of food and is allergy friendly!!

By far the best restaurant in Fes. The service is impeccable. Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped in. Humility and class no arrogance and the highest standard of dining in Fes. Definitely my best and will always come back every time I visit. Looking forward to bringing friends and family from the UK. I believe we met the owner who was also very kind and generous. The serving hosts were superb as was the Truffle risotto. Thank you so much for hosting us until next time.
